(1) General 
a) All quotations given and all orders received and accepted are executed on the basis that the purchaser is bound by these conditions of sale. Where there is any inconsistency between these Conditions of Sale and any Conditions that the Purchaser wishes to impose these Conditions shall prevail. Where orders specify delivery by instalments, each such instalment shall be deemed a separate contract. No amendment of variation of these conditions will apply unless confirmed in writing by the director of the company. Acceptance of any goods supplied by the company indicates an acceptance of these Conditions.
b) The company reserves the right to refuse the Purchaser’s acceptance of a quotation given by the company unless such a quotation is stated to be open for a specific period and is accepted within such period before being withdrawn. In the event of the receipt by the Company of an order from the Purchaser, execution of the order is contingent upon availability of goods and will not be binding on the Company unless accepted by the Company in writing.
c) No orders to the Company may be cancelled.

(3) Order Acceptance
(a) Web site orders are acknowledged automatically by e-mail.
(b) Receiving order via telephone phone, orders placed by telephone are accepted when order is placed and orders are acknowledged verbally

(4) Pricing
(a) Our company endeavour to ensure all published prices are correct, the company reserve the right to change prices without notice, the company will not accept orders at prices that have been quoted in error.
(b) Prices are quoted in pounds sterling subject to VAT at 20%.

(5) Payment
(a) Payments are accepted in pounds sterling, most credit or debit cards detailed on the web site at time of order. 
(b) Payment Security, all credit card payments made during on-line transactions are handled on our behalf by Paypal secure payment gateway. No credit card details are processed or stored at any time on the company's web site.
(c) Title of goods, goods does not pass from the company to the customer until full payment is received.

(6) Delivery
(a) Despatch orders within 24 hours of receipt, subject to availability of stock, please allow up to a maximum of 7-10 days for delivery by the following methods
First or second class post with Royal Mail, Parcel post, DHL, or other Courier
(b) If no one is availbale at the delivery address, the courier will leave a card requesting you to contact them directly, either to arrange or to collect the parcel, or arrange a second delivery attempt. If all delivery attempts are unsuccessful, then an additional charge is made for any further delivery attempts you will be liable for this charge. If after seven days you have not collected the parcel from the courier company then the parcel is automatically returned to ourselves If this happens you will be liable for any return delivery costs and also for the cost of re-delivery. 
(c) If any delays occur, the company will keep you informed. If delivery is delayed beyond 28 days we will give you the option of full refund of any payments made.
(dc)  If you fail to take delivery the Supplier shall refund or re-credit you within 28 days for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods, less any expenses incurred for failed delivery.

(7) Refunds
(a) For some reason outside the companies control, company are unable to complete the transaction within 28 days any payment made will be refunded immediately.
(b) Refunds against returned goods will be paid as soon as the returned goods are received by us, subject to the goods being received in unused, undamaged condition in their original packaging.

(8) Returns
Returns will only be accepted with our prior agreement as detailed in our returns policy:
(a) You have the right to cancel the contract at any time up to the end of 28 working days after you receive the goods providing the goods have not been fitted or modified in any way and providing they are returned with the original packaging and providing the goods are in a resalable condition.
(b) Cancellation rights, you must immediately send an email to [email protected] energylightbulbs.co.uk stating your order number and that you wish to cancel your order.
(c) All items ordered incorrectly or not required may be subject to 10% per cent handing charge  

Please keep in mind the following:
• Items returned within 28 days but not in their original and undamaged packaging will also incur a -15% charge per package.
• If you return an item that doesn't adhere to our returns procedure or doesn't include a returns form, you may be liable for a £10 administration fee

Please include a cover note containing your order number, the email address you placed the order with and the products you are returning.
The goods and packaging are undamaged
IMPORTANT: We need to be able to identify an item with your order. We can only do this if you follow our returns process. Please do not send us items back that do not follow this process as they cannot be identified properly and will not be replaced or refunded.

Where can i find my order number?
Your order number can be found on the confirmation email we sent you after you completed your purchase.

What do I need to know before I return an item?

When returning an item, you will need to include the following in a cover note (and email us your request too):
• The email you registered your purchase with
• Order Number
• What product(s) you are returning
• The reason for the return
• What action you would like us to take
• Enclose copy of the order

Within 28 days of informing us of your order cancellation and returning at your cost.
(d) If you cancel your order after the goods have been dispatched, you will be responsible for returning the goods to us at your own cost. You must take reasonable care to ensure goods are not damaged in transit.
(e) Once you have notified us that you are cancelling the contract, we will refund or re-credit you within 28 days for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods only, and not for the packing and shipping costs, only after the cancelled items have been received, subject to the goods being received in unused, undamaged condition in their original packaging.
(f) If you do not return the goods as required, we may charge you a sum not exceeding the direct costs of recovering the goods.

(9) Description and price of the goods
(a) Description and price of the goods ordered is shown on the Supplier's website at the time you place your order.
(b) Goods are supplied subject to the company's standard specifications
(c) Product and application data: our company is unable to assess viability of every possible application of the goods/products: It is customer's duty to ensure that goods ordered are suitable for the application.
(d) Published Information: our company endeavour to ensure all published information is correct, the company shall not be under any liability for any direct, indirect or consequential damage, loss or expense that may be caused as a result of any error or omission in any information published by or supplied by the company.
(e) Customers should not place undue reliance upon such reproductions, exact colours and finishes are difficult to reproduce accurately on web sites and printed materials,

(10) Data Protection & Privacy
(a)    Our company respects the right to your privacy and ensures all transactions are made in accordance with our privacy policy.
(b)   We comply with the provisions of the Data Protection Act (2018) and the European Union Data Protection Framework Directives, we follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information which you have given us, to prevent unauthorised access. Our security procedures mean that we may occasionally request proof of identity before we are able to disclose sensitive information to you. We only store the data necessary for accounting, sales, and record keeping in order to maintain and improve the trading relationship between the company and its customers.
(c)    We do not sell, loan or rent data to any other party.
(d)   The company have an anti-SPAM policy, we will never send you any unsolicited e-mail Furthermore, as required by the UK Data Protection Legislation.

(11) Complaints
(a) Complaints will be dealt with in a fair manner. All complaints should be addressed in writing to the company at the published address or via the web site contact form.

(12) Indemnity
(a) Customers and other users of this web site agree to indemnify the company against any claims, direct, indirect or consequential damage, loss or expense that may be caused as direct or indirect result of the use of this web site and any information or computer software contained therein or by your access to other web sites as a result of links from this site.
(b) We make every effort to ensure our web site does not contain any computer viruses but cannot guarantee this or warrant that it is virus-free.

(14) Force Majeure
Performance of contracts is subject to variation or cancellation owing to Act of God, War, Strike, Lockout, Fire, Drought, Riot, Civil Commotion, restriction by Government or by any other competent Authority or any other cause beyond the Company’s control, or owing to the Company’s inability to procure materials or articles except at enhanced prices due to any of the afore going clauses.

(15) Law
Any disputes arising out of, or in connection with, any contract will be governed by English
